SUMMARY

The following policy applies to TRUKNOW or TRUKNOW.COM, (referred to herein as "We"). We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of our online visitors and member/users. This Privacy Policy applies to our online practices only, except the Opt-Out procedure below may also apply to our offline collection of personal information. What Information We Collect:

We may ask to collect the following types of information about you when you register/“sign on”, submit content and/or place an order for a TruKnow product at the www.truknow.com website: We may collect or assign a TruKnow password and username for your account, and collect your name, address, phone number, e-mail address and billing information. We may also retain any content or messages you enter or send to TruKnow. User/members can add, edit, or remove their own information as they see fit in their client account page after signing in.

How We Use Your Information:

We use your information, such as your email address, to communicate directly with you to send you service-related emails like product(s), membership or billing conformation, reminders, changes/updates to service features or technical and security notices. You may not opt out of service-related emails, but you may easily opt out of receiving any non-service-related notifications. The personally identifiable information you give to TruKnow, or on www.truknow.com and affiliated links, such as your email address, constitutes your acknowledgement and authorization to be contacted by TruKnow to receive announcements or special offers. If you do not want to receive such notices and wish to opt out, please simply let us know by contacting us through www.truknow.com and informing a member of our administrative staff in via email or in writing.

Inviting Your Contacts to TruKnow:

You may refer or invite your contact(s) to TruKnow or to complete a TruKnow tool on your behalf. By inviting one of your contact(s) to TruKnow, you are directly sending a message, text or email from your own device or from your TruKnow account using one of your own devices. Since this invitation is coming directly from your email, phone or other device, we cannot be responsible and do not have access to or control that communication. As your contact(s) complete a TruKnow tool, they may be asked to enter their name and email to receive an email message containing an expression of appreciation and an offer from TruKnow.

SECURITY

We ensure that all personally and non-personally identifiable information that we receive via the Internet is secure against unauthorized access. This information is kept in a safe and secure system isolated from direct connection to the Internet. This means that no eyes but ours will ever see the information that our visitors send to us, unless we indicate otherwise. Why Are We So Safe?

We use Paypal for our billing system. PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). Before you even register or log in to the PayPal site, our server checks that you’re using an approved browser - one that uses SSL 3.0 or higher.

LINKS TO OTHER SITES

Visitors will find links from TRUKNOW.COM to independently-owned, controlled and/or managed World Wide Web or Internet sites whose content we have found of possible interest to our visitors. In many cases, but not always, the links represent cooperative projects or mutual links established with the organizations connected with these sites.
